Charlie Puth Named Lucky Brand Ambassador as Asia Tour Approaches

Charlie Puth has been named the newest brand ambassador for Lucky Brand, the American denim and lifestyle company known for its vintage-inspired casual wear, under a partnership announced on 5 August 2026. WWD confirmed the deal, with Billboard reporting further details on 6 August. Lucky Brand marked the announcement with a promotional video, titled "Made for those who make their own luck. Charlie Puth for Lucky Brand," posted to its official Facebook page.
Lucky Brand operates under Catalyst Brands as its operating partner, with Marisa Thalberg serving as chief marketing officer. Authentic Brands Group, which acquired Lucky Brand in 2020, holds the brand within its broader portfolio — the kind of licensing-and-ownership structure that lets a single company manage names spanning fashion, sports and entertainment. Stefani Fleurant holds the role of executive vice-president of sports and lifestyle marketing at Authentic Brands Group. Billboard reported all corporate and executive details.
For Puth, the partnership arrives during a busy stretch. His fourth studio album, Whatever's Clever!, was released through Atlantic Records in March 2025 and peaked at No. 46 on the Billboard 200 — the chart that ranks the most consumed albums in the US each week, combining sales and streaming equivalent album units, the measure that converts plays into album sales. That finish was lower than his first three studio albums, all of which reached the top 10: Nine Track Mind (No. 6 in 2016), Voicenotes (No. 4 in 2018) and Charlie (No. 10 in 2022).
His chart history runs deeper than album cycles. Puth has landed 13 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including four top 10 hits. The biggest of those came early: his 2015 guest verse on Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again," from the Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack, spent 12 weeks at No. 1. He performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" to open Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in 2025, and has recently become a father.
Live dates are next on the calendar. The Asia leg of Puth's Whatever's Clever World Tour begins on 11 October at Seoul's Goyang Stadium, with stops in the Philippines, Japan and Taiwan, followed by Australia and New Zealand in November.
What makes the Lucky Brand fit worth noting is the alignment of timing: Puth heads into a multi-country tour cycle just as the denim label gets a fresh face in front of its audience. Brand ambassador deals in music typically pair an artist's public profile with a label's seasonal campaigns — the kind of arrangement where both sides trade visibility rather than cash alone, though specific financial terms of this partnership have not been disclosed.
Whether the campaign extends beyond the tour cycle has not been announced. For now, Puth wears the denim, and the denim gets a musician with a global itinerary.
