TikTok creator Lala Sadii, whose videos have racked up more than 1.7 billion likes on the platform, is getting a live-action scripted series based on her own life. Disney Channel and Disney+ are developing Lala IRL, a comedy series in which Sadii will star and serve as executive producer, according to Variety.

The series is described as having a comedic bent and hails from writer-director Peter Paige and Endemol Shine North America, per Deadline. Paige executive produces alongside Sadii, Lauren Gellert, Billy Mann, and Endemol Shine North America's Sharon Levy and Lisa Fahrenholt.

The official logline sets up the premise: a girl who tried to fit in before becoming a social media superstar, now navigating jealous classmates, intrigued friends, concerned siblings, and strict parents. In other words, it is a behind-the-screens look at what life looks like when the phone camera is off.

Sadii, a singer and internet personality, first surfaced around 2020 with lifestyle videos, skits about adolescent life, and vlogs. She later shifted into dramatic storytelling, personal anecdotes, day-in-the-life clips, and original music. She released the tracks "Bubble" and "The One" in 2026, adding to earlier releases including "Internet," "24/7," "K4U," and "Down."

Her reach is considerable. Sadii has more than 25 million followers on TikTok, where her page has accumulated over 1.7 billion likes. Those numbers place her among the platform's most-watched creators, and the Disney project puts her in a format — scripted television, meaning a written, performed story rather than a feed of short clips — that a growing number of social media figures have moved into.
