Karol G released her new album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto on Friday, 7 August 2025, and it arrives carrying a collaboration fans have been waiting for: the first-ever track between the Colombian star and Drake, titled 'Ahí'. Billboard

'Ahí' was co-produced by Karol G and her longtime collaborator Ovy On The Drums, and co-written by Karol G herself, according to Just Jared. On the track, Drake interpolates his own song 'New Bestie', which appeared on his MAID OF HONOUR album released in May 2025. That song contained a shout-out to Karol G — a hint that now reads as an early signal of the partnership.

The connection between the two artists has been building in plain view. In July 2025, Drake attended Karol G's concert in Toronto and appeared on the arena's Jumbotron. A month earlier, in May, Charlamagne Tha God had fuelled rumours that Drake appeared on ICEMAN — one of three albums Drake released on the same day in spring 2025. That triple release landed Drake at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard 200, the weekly US album chart, with ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR respectively. 'New Bestie' itself spent a single week on the Billboard Hot 100, the flagship US singles ranking, peaking at No. 72.

The new album, whose title translates to 'I Don't Regret Feeling So Much', also features collaborations with Bruno Mars and Greg Gonzalez of the dream-pop band Cigarettes After Sex. It comes a little more than a year after Karol G's previous album Tropicoqueta, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart — a chart she has topped four times to date. For Karol G, the album deepens a catalogue that has made her one of the most consistent chart forces in Latin music. For Drake, 'Ahí' extends a year in which he saturated the Billboard 200 with three simultaneous top-three entries — a feat no artist had achieved before — and now steps into a Spanish-language collaboration with one of the genre's biggest names.
