Peacock Launches AI-Generated Detective Game 'Public Eye' From Wolf Games

Peacock has launched Public Eye, an AI-generated serialised detective game built by Wolf Games, the studio co-founded by Dick Wolf's son Elliot Wolf alongside Andrew Adashek and Noah Rosenberg. The game went live on the Peacock mobile app on 10 August 2026, according to Variety.
Players step into the shoes of Officer Logan Dine, a patrol cop quietly investigating his own uncle's murder across the fictional Caldera City. Each episode blends narrative storytelling with puzzle gameplay: players comb animated crime scenes for clues that gradually unspool a conspiracy running through the police department.
Wolf Games co-founder Elliot Wolf said the game was designed so players could spot clues and meet characters within seconds of opening it. NBCUniversal Media Group senior vice president of product UX and design John Jelley described Public Eye as sitting "at the intersection of microdramas and interactive storytelling" — short, episodic fiction that the player helps drive forward rather than simply watches Variety.
The title was first announced in October 2025, when Wolf Games and NBCUniversal unveiled their partnership. In March 2026, NBCUniversal confirmed on its corporate site that Peacock would debut two Wolf Games mobile titles built with the studio's AI technology during the year: one tied to the Law & Order universe arriving in spring, and Public Eye following in the summer NBCUniversal.
Public Eye is not the first Wolf Games title on Peacock. Law & Order: Clue Hunter, in which players act as detectives examining crime scenes and finding clues, launched in May 2026 as the studio's first interactive release Wolf Entertainment. Both titles now sit alongside Jeopardy! TODAY and Wheel of Fortune TODAY in the app's growing games catalogue.
The numbers behind that push are modest but pointed. According to Peacock, 40% of Peacock mobile users engaged with a game on the app in June 2026, and Law & Order: Clue Hunter players averaged more than six minutes a day in the game Variety.
For Peacock, games are a way to keep subscribers inside the app beyond the time they spend watching a show. For Wolf Games, Public Eye is the first title built on its own AI-generated content pipeline to reach the public — a sign of where the studio, and its parent company Wolf Entertainment, are steering their storytelling ambitions.
