Limp Bizkit to Headline Good Things Festival 2026 in Australia
Limp Bizkit will headline the 2026 edition of Australia's Good Things Festival, with more than 30 acts across nu-metal, pop-punk, metalcore and hardcore joining the bill. The festival announced its full lineup on Tuesday, Aug. 11, with presale tickets set for Aug. 18.
Good Things Festival 2026 runs across three consecutive days in December: Dec. 4 at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Dec. 5 at Sydney Showground and Dec. 6 at Brisbane Showgrounds. All dates are 16-and-over. Billboard confirmed the dates and headline slot.
Limp Bizkit previously topped the Good Things bill in 2023, when they shared headlining duties with Fall Out Boy and Devo and played sold-out sideshows. Formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1994 and fronted by Fred Durst, the band has sold more than 40 million records worldwide. Their 1999 album Significant Other debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — the flagship US album chart — earned two Grammy nominations and was certified seven-times platinum by the RIAA, the body that tracks US sales. Its follow-up, 2000's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, also opened at No. 1, with more than one million US copies in its first week.
The supporting cast runs deep. Simple Plan return to Good Things for the first time since the 2019 edition. Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire will play their 2006 album Crisis in full, marking its 20th anniversary. Swedish skate-punk veterans Millencolin will do the same with Pennybridge Pioneers, their 2000 landmark. Bad Religion, formed in 1980, appear in their 45th year. Industrial pioneers Ministry's festival dates have been billed as their final Australian shows.
Spiritbox, the Canadian metal band whose 2025 album Tsunami Sea hit No. 26 on the Billboard 200 and topped the UK Independent Albums chart, bring three Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance to the bill. Australian metalcore act Polaris, whose 2023 album Fatalism reached No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, the national Australian chart, also feature. They are joined by The All-American Rejects, Grinspoon, P.O.D., Neck Deep, The Devil Wears Prada, Speed, Slowly Slowly, Bilmuri, MxPx and Voice of Baceprot — the Indonesian metal trio from West Java.
Grinspoon's appearance comes weeks after frontman Phil Jamieson cancelled a solo tour following a fractured vertebra. The band's inclusion on the bill signals a return to the stage for the Australian rock group, though the extent of Jamieson's recovery ahead of December was not detailed in the announcement.
The festival had teased its 2026 return as far back as May, with a blog post confirming it was back and promising a lineup drop. Earlier in August, organisers also warned fans about fake groups, fake streams and fake prize offers circulating online ahead of ticket sales.
For fans of the heavier end of the rock spectrum, the 2026 bill pulls together legacy acts and newer names across four adjacent genres — a lineup that rewards both nostalgia and discovery, packed into one long weekend across three cities.
