Four More Join Prime Video's Bishop as Recurring Cast Grows
Prime Video's upcoming crime series Bishop has added four actors to its recurring cast: Gerardo Celasco, Alex Breaux, Ally Ioannides, and Steven Yaffee. Deadline reported the casting on 11 August 2026 (Deadline).
Each new arrival comes with a named role. Celasco plays Ricardo Cruz. Breaux takes on Louis Davies, also known as Ed Walker. Ioannides steps in as Mountain Girl, whose real name is Margaret Walker. Yaffee plays a character called Cain.
Bishop stars Joel Kinnaman as Bishop Graves, a homicide detective described as brilliant and battle-scarred, hunting a killer who targets San Francisco's wealthy. John Malkovich plays Lincoln Graves, Bishop's father and the city's most powerful man. The ensemble also includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Xavier Samuel, Jordana Brewster, Harry Treadaway, Ulrich Thomsen, Erik Svedberg-Zelman, John Larroquette, Rob Yang, Bronson Pinchot, Ron Lea, Kaniehtiio Horn, Hunter Dillon, Dillon Casey, Brett Donahue, Jorja Cadence, Ishan Davé, Adam J. Harrington, and Rick Hoffman.
The series is co-created by Little Marvin and Tony Saltzman. Little Marvin serves as showrunner — the writer-producer who runs the writers' room and oversees production — and executive produces alongside Saltzman, Roy Lee, and Miri Yoon of Vertigo. The project stems from Little Marvin's overall deal at Amazon MGM Studios, meaning Amazon funds his development slate in exchange for first look at what he creates. Felicia Fasano is the casting director.
A recurring role, in television parlance, sits between a guest spot and a series regular: the actor appears across multiple episodes without being locked into every one. For Celasco, Breaux, Ioannides, and Yaffee, that means joining a cast that already runs deep — a roster heavy on established film and television names, anchored by Kinnaman and Malkovich.
