Quest Marks, a marketing executive who spent two decades at NBCUniversal, is leaving Bravo to join the Los Angeles creative advertising agency The Shop as vice president of creative. The move puts a long-time television marketing hand into a shop that cuts trailers, TV spots, and behind-the-scenes content for both film and television clients. (Variety)

Marks will report directly to The Shop's partners, Jordan Hayman and Nick Shakarian, and will work across both TV and theatrical clients while helping to build the agency's social and digital capabilities. Hayman announced the hire in a prepared statement. (Variety)

At Bravo, Marks most recently held the title of vice president of creative marketing. She led creative for the launch of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, the newest entry in the Real Housewives franchise, and worked on the "Summer By Bravo" brand campaign. She also helped shape BravoCon and Bravo FanFest, two of the network's biggest fan-facing events. (Variety)

Her Bravo tenure stretches back well before the VP title. Bravo Media elevated Marks to vice president, on-air/video in December 2016, when she was serving as senior creative director of on-air promotion. (Variety) She attended Brigham Young University, according to her LinkedIn profile. (LinkedIn)

The Shop, formally known as The Shop Creative Advertising, Inc., is based in Los Angeles and specialises in trailers, TV spots, promotional reels, and behind-the-scenes content for film and television. (LinkedIn)

For a marketer who built her name selling reality television to a devoted fanbase, the jump to an agency that sells movies and shows to audiences is a natural pivot. The appeal for The Shop is equally straightforward: someone who has spent twenty years inside a network knows what a campaign needs to do before a viewer ever presses play.
