Troye Sivan Announces Fourth Album 'She's the Best,' Drops Title Track and Video Tonight

Troye Sivan has announced his fourth studio album, She's the Best, set for release on October 9. The title track and its music video arrive at midnight EST on August 13, serving as the record's first single, according to Pitchfork.

Sivan has been building toward the reveal for over a week. He began teasing the single on August 5, 2026, through a series of Instagram posts that previewed both the song and its video. Before the album title was confirmed, cryptic posts bearing the initials "STB" had already prompted speculation that new music was on the way, as Rolling Stone Australia reported on August 6.

The single will also get a live debut. Sivan is scheduled to perform "She's the Best" during a TikTok LIVE broadcast from New York City at 8:30 pm on August 13, 2026, ahead of the midnight release, as confirmed by Attitude and Edge Media Network.

She's the Best is Sivan's first full-length album since 2023's Something to Give Each Other. That record fuelled a busy 2024 for the Australian singer: he co-headlined the SWEAT tour, a North American arena run with Charli XCX that paired Something to Give Each Other with her album Brat, as Pitchfork notes.

For fans, the three-year gap between albums has been short by Sivan's standards — his first three records each came roughly three to four years apart — but the SWEAT tour and the visibility it brought him in 2024 kept his profile high between release cycles. The choice to lead the new album with its title track, rather than a standalone advance single, suggests Sivan is tying the campaign's identity directly to the album's name from the first moment.
