Kingston Rumi Southwick and Arthur Conti Join Ariana Greenblatt in Amazon MGM Rom-Com 'Egg Baby'

Kingston Rumi Southwick and Arthur Conti have joined Ariana Greenblatt in Egg Baby, an Amazon MGM romantic comedy heading to Prime Video, Deadline reported on 13 August 2026.
The film pairs a rebellious artist, played by Greenblatt, with a golden-boy quarterback, played by Southwick, when the two are forced to co-parent an egg for a health-class assignment. The egg's name is Yolk-o. Natalia Anderson directs from a screenplay by Sawyer Perry. XYZ Films produces with Allison Friedman, in association with BuzzFeed Studios. Amazon MGM will stream the title globally on Prime Video (Deadline).
Conti's specific role has not been disclosed.
Southwick arrives with a string of high-profile television credits. He played Matthew Rhys' son in the Apple TV series Widow's Bay, the son of Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga in Apple's legal drama Presumed Innocent, and appeared in Amazon's thriller series 56 Days. He is represented by Untitled Entertainment and attorney Erik Hyman of Paul Hastings (Deadline).
Conti, meanwhile, has been building momentum across film and television. He played a key role in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and appears in Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, a Mubi slasher from Jane Schoenbrun that won the Queer Palm at the Cannes Film Festival. His upcoming slate includes Ti West's Ebenezer and Mike Flanagan's series adaptation of Stephen King's Carrie. He is represented by WME, The Artists Partnership, and Myman Greenspan (Deadline).
Greenblatt, already set as the film's lead, has been one of the more sought-after young actors in Hollywood, with credits spanning Barbie and Avengers: Infinity War.
