Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi, Chayanne Lead 'Unidos por los Nuestros' Benefit Concert for Colombia and Venezuela Earthquake Victims

More than 30 artists will share one stage in Miami on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. ET to raise funds for communities hit by earthquakes in Colombia and Venezuela. The benefit, officially titled "Unidos por los Nuestros — Live Benefit Concert & National Telethon," takes over the Kaseya Center and combines a live concert, an international telethon and a global fundraising campaign under one banner.
The lineup is led by Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi, Chayanne and Ricardo Montaner, with Colombian band Piso 21 and Venezuelan band Free Cover also confirmed among the participants, according to Billboard and Univision. The name "Unidos por los Nuestros" translates to "United for Our Own," as reported by the Associated Press.
The initiative was originally launched about a month ago as "Unidos Por Venezuela," in response to the earthquakes in that country, before expanding its scope to include Colombia, Billboard reported. Felipe Pimiento, who co-founded the effort alongside Marc Anthony and Henry Cárdenas and serves as its executive producer, previously helped organise the 2017 "Somos una Voz" relief event for Puerto Rico after Hurricane María.
The humanitarian campaign is led by CMN, Maestro Cares Foundation, TelevisaUnivision and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with support from iHeartRadio, Spotify, Creative Link, EB Public Relations and Arco Entertainment. Funds raised are earmarked for food assistance, healthcare, shelters, housing, child protection, mental health support, education and infrastructure reconstruction in the affected regions.
For fans, this means a chance to see a generational span of Latin music stars — from salsa to pop to regional — on a single bill, with ticket and donation proceeds directed entirely at earthquake recovery. Tickets are listed through Ticketmaster, and the telethon format means viewers outside Miami can also contribute during the broadcast.
The concert lands on a Sunday evening slot that gives it maximum reach across Latin American and U.S. Hispanic households, with TelevisaUnivision's broadcast infrastructure and iHeartRadio's radio network both behind the push.
