Bravo Sets 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 7 Premiere for September 16
Bravo has slotted the Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for Wednesday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with next-day streaming on Peacock. The cable network confirmed the date alongside cast photos published by Deadline on August 13.
Eight names anchor the new season. Returning full-time Housewives are Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport and Whitney Rose, with Britani Bateman back as a friend of the Housewives — a recurring role, meaning she appears regularly but does not hold a full apple, as the franchise's casting contracts are known. A new face joins the friend ranks: Ashley Quai, whose addition to the group rounds out the Season 7 ensemble Deadline.
The Salt Lake Tribune had reported in early August that Barlow, Gay, Katsanevas, Cosby, Newport and a new cast member were locked as full-time cast, and the Bravo and Deadline confirmations fill in the rest of the lineup Salt Lake Tribune.
Season 7 takes the cast well beyond Utah. According to Bravo, the women celebrate St. Patrick's Day in San Francisco and then travel to Hawaii Deadline. The trailer, released earlier in August, teases relationship splits for Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas and Bronwyn Newport Bravo's The Daily Dish. Newport had publicly announced her separation from her husband ahead of filming Deadline.
The season also follows Mary Cosby in the aftermath of the loss of her son Deadline. That thread sits alongside the show's usual mix of business ventures, social clashes and group trips, giving the new run a heavier personal centre alongside the franchise's signature conflict.
Shed Media produces the series. Executive producers are Lisa Shannon, Dan Peirson, Craig Turner, Sunny Franklin, Lucy Bennett and Tamara Blaich, with Andy Cohen also credited in the same role Deadline. Episodes stream on Peacock the day after their Bravo broadcast Bravo's The Daily Dish.
For fans of the franchise, the return comes with a cast that has stayed mostly intact from Season 6, with Quai the only fresh addition. The combination of cast stability and the personal storylines flagged in the trailer gives the new season a clear shape before a single episode has aired.
