Glen Powell stars as Russ Holliday, a disgraced college football quarterback who disguises himself as a fresh-faced walk-on called Chad Powers to claw his way back into the game. The series, a comedy that first premiered in 2025, grew out of a segment on ESPN's Eli's Places — the college football show fronted by two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning. Powell co-created the show with Michael Waldron, whose credits include Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Deadline
The new trailer, published on Hulu's official YouTube channel, picks up with Chad as a superstar on the field whose odd behaviour off it makes everyone suspicious — especially Coach Jake Hudson, played by Steve Zahn.
