Portugal. The Man Announce 2026 Australian East Coast Tour
Portugal. The Man will bring their Denali Tour to Australia's east coast in October 2026, playing three dates announced by Live Nation on 17 August.
The run hits Sydney's Roundhouse on 14 October, the Forum in Melbourne on 17 October, and Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on 18 October, according to Billboard. Tickets go on general sale Friday, 21 August at 12 p.m. local time, with a Mastercard and artist presale from 19 August and a Live Nation presale from 20 August.
The tour takes its name from "Denali," a track on the band's tenth studio album SHISH, released 7 November 2025 via the band's own KNIK imprint through Thirty Tigers, a US independent distributor. Frontman John Gourley has described the ten-track album as an exploration of survival, connection and rural life, drawing on the band's Alaskan roots.
Portugal. The Man formed in Wasilla, Alaska, and are now based in Portland, Oregon. Their 2017 single "Feel It Still" reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 — the US singles chart — and won the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2018. Its parent album Woodstock peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, the band's highest placement on the US album chart.
The Australian run carries an unusual banner: "Support Your Local Crews and Workers." It is a nod to the behind-the-scenes labour that keeps tours moving — stagehands, sound engineers, lighting techs, riggers and drivers — and it puts that workforce front and centre on the tour's branding rather than in the fine print.
For fans, the October dates are a chance to hear SHISH material live on Australian soil for the first time, alongside a catalogue that now spans ten albums and nearly two decades of recording.
