L'Agence Leaves New York Fashion Week for Paris Debut

L'Agence, the Los Angeles-based fashion and denim brand, will present its spring 2027 collection during Paris Fashion Week — the first time the label has shown outside New York Fashion Week.

The presentation is scheduled for the evening of 29 September, stepping into the most closely watched of the four major fashion weeks alongside New York, London and Milan. Paris, under the calendar set by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, is the week where luxury conglomerates and independent houses alike present their collections to buyers, press and clients. Jeff Rudes, cofounder and creative director of L'Agence, said no decisions have been made about whether the brand will show in Paris in future seasons. The move to Paris for spring 2027 is, for now, a single-calendar decision rather than a permanent relocation.

The brand has been building its international footprint. L'Agence opened its second international store in Seoul, South Korea, as part of an expansion into key global markets, according to the company's own site. The Seoul opening follows broader efforts by the label to reach consumers beyond its home base in California.

For a denim-rooted brand founded in Los Angeles, a Paris Fashion Week slot places L'Agence in a setting more commonly associated with houses backed by LVMH, Kering and Richemont. The spring 2027 collections shown during the September 2026 calendar are the ranges that will land in stores for the following spring — the lead time that lets buyers and retailers place orders months ahead of delivery.

Paris Fashion Week runs from late September into early October, drawing buyers and editors from around the world. Whether L'Agence returns to New York or stays in Paris will depend on how the September presentation lands — and, as Rudes made clear, that conversation has not yet happened.
