Phillies Win the 2026 Field of Dreams Game on Netflix as Baseball Returns to the Iowa Cornfields
The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Minnesota Twins 7-1 on Thursday, 13 August 2026, in only the third Major League Baseball game ever played at the Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville, Iowa (Yahoo Sports). Producer Larry Gordon, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, recalled how difficult it was to get the film made in the 1980s.
