Remi Wolf Announces Third Album 'Mud', Out October 9 on Island Records

Remi Wolf announced her third studio album, Mud, on Tuesday, August 18, in an Instagram post that also revealed the cover artwork. The 11-track record is due for release on October 9 via Island Records, according to Billboard and confirmed by The Line of Best Fit and uDiscover Music.

A new single, 'Bottle', arrives on Thursday, August 20. It follows 'Twiggy', the lead single already released from the album, as People and uDiscover Music confirmed.

The full tracklist for Mud runs: Bottle, Champagne, Twiggy, Burn Me Blue, Jamie, Covered In Mud, Moon So High, I Won't Cry, Wine Drunk, Guess, and Yellow Rose. Billboard published the titles alongside the announcement.

Wolf, 30, described the album in a press release as "a cleansing record to make." She said she felt covered in filth at the start of the process but clean and clear by the end, according to Billboard. The record came together during a period of reflection following years of touring with artists including Olivia Rodrigo and Lorde.

To build the album, Wolf travelled to Nashville and later attended a retreat in Big Bear, California, with a close circle of friends and musicians. Billboard reported that the retreat was part of the creative process that shaped the final record.

For fans, the next two dates to mark are August 20, when 'Bottle' drops, and October 9, when the full album arrives. Wolf's touring profile has grown steadily through high-profile support slots, and Mud is her first full-length release since that run of arena and amphitheatre dates. The move to Island Records, part of Universal Music Group, places the album within the major-label system for what is, on paper, her most personal statement yet — a record she frames as a wash rather than a polish.
