Ariana Madix Scrubs Back In: St. Denis Medical Season 3 Brings Dr. Brooke Emerson

Ariana Madix is returning to NBC's St. Denis Medical for Season 3, reprising her role as Dr. Brooke Emerson in at least three episodes, according to Deadline Deadline.
Dr. Emerson is a cardiac surgeon and the former girlfriend of Bruce, played by Josh Lawson. Madix first joined the cast in Season 2 with a multi-episode guest arc, then appeared again on 30 March 2026 — her second guest spot on the show NBC Insider. In the Season 2 finale, her character performed Ron's triple bypass surgery NBC Insider.
For viewers catching up: St. Denis Medical is a mockumentary — a comedy shot in the faux-documentary style made famous by The Office and Parks and Recreation — set at St. Denis Regional Medical Center, an underfunded, understaffed hospital in Oregon Deadline. Season 3 returns with new episodes on Monday, 2 November at 8/7c on NBC, streaming the next day on Peacock NBC Insider.
Madix remains busy beyond the hospital halls. She will co-host the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion alongside Andy Cohen, streaming on Monday, 31 August at 9 p.m. ET Deadline. She is also heading back to Broadway, joining the cast of Just In Time, a musical in which she will play Connie Francis Deadline.
NBC had previously confirmed Madix's return to the series on its official insider page in April 2026 NBC Insider. The Deadline report published on 19 August 2026 adds the detail that her Season 3 commitment covers at least three episodes.
