Actor Adam Scott appeared on the Today show on Aug. 24 and recalled attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, telling host Craig Melvin that despite the grand scale of the event, it felt like a "regular," down-to-earth celebration where "everyone teared up" Today.
Scott, who attended with his wife Naomi Scott, said the invitation earned him serious credit with his Swiftie teenage daughter Frankie — except he did not bring her. Frankie stayed awake waiting for her parents to come home and hear about it, he said Billboard.
The wedding took place on July 3 at Madison Square Garden before an estimated 1,000 guests. Adam Sandler officiated. Swift's brother Austin served as her man of honour, and Kelce's brother Jason stood as his best man. The guest list included Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz and Karlie Kloss. The Scotts posed for photos with Paul Rudd and his wife Julie Yaeger, and Scott later shared an Instagram post captioned "T&T" Billboard.

Details from the ceremony have continued to surface in the weeks since. Billboard reported that the bouquet Swift tossed appeared to include sweet peas and Queen Anne's lace Billboard. Kelce himself described the day in simpler terms, calling it "the best night of my life" Today.
What stands out across these accounts is the consistency of the reaction. Guests at a wedding held inside one of New York's largest arenas keep describing a gathering that felt small. A-list names filled the room, but the words people keep reaching for are "regular" and "intimate" — not the vocabulary usually attached to an event of that size.
For Scott, the night had a more personal footnote.
