Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' Gets 20th Anniversary Reissue With Unreleased Demos and Live Paradiso Set
A 20th anniversary edition of Amy Winehouse's 2006 album Back to Black will be released on 23 October, featuring previously unheard demos, rare B-sides and the full recording of a 2007 concert in Amsterdam.

The three-CD deluxe edition pairs the original studio album with a second disc of rarities and a third disc capturing Winehouse's 14-song set at Paradiso on 8 February 2007 — the first time that complete performance has been officially released. The second disc carries four previously unreleased demos, including early versions of "Rehab," "I've Been Drinkin' (Just Friends)," "Tears Dry" and a down-tempo take on "Some Unholy War." Original demos of "F-kery (Me & Mr. Jones)," "Back to Black" and "Love is a Losing Game" also appear, alongside a BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge cover of the Zutons' "Valerie" and Winehouse's collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah on "I'm No Good (You Know I'm No Good)."
The live Paradiso disc broadens the picture further. The setlist blends Winehouse's own material — "Addicted," "Cherry," "Wake Up Alone," "I Heard Love Is Blind" — with a medley stitching "He Can Only Hold Her" into Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)."
New liner notes come from the album's producers, Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi. The package also features alternative cover art incorporating Winehouse's handwritten lyrics and previously unseen photographs by Mischa Richter and Alex Lake, the original album's photographers.
A three-LP clear vinyl edition mirrors the CD tracklist. Additional vinyl variants include a Chalkboard Marble pressing and a webstore-exclusive Zoetrope picture disc, the latter listed on Winehouse's official online store. Back to Black won five Grammy Awards, with "Rehab" taking both Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2008 ceremony. Winehouse died on 23 July 2011 of alcohol poisoning.
The reissue will be accompanied by a UK anniversary tour. The Amy Winehouse Band — the musicians who backed Winehouse during her lifetime — will perform Back to Black in full alongside other songs from her catalogue across October and November 2026, according to concert promoter Senbla. Senbla
