Dispatch Gets Physical Deluxe Editions and a Vinyl Soundtrack

AdHoc Studio is putting Dispatch — its superhero workplace comedy-drama — on physical discs and cartridges for the first time, with a full slate of extras and a vinyl soundtrack to match. Announced on 25 August 2026 ahead of the game's first anniversary, the physical Deluxe Editions are headed to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, published in partnership with PM Studios. Dispatch launched on 22 October 2025 for PS5 and PC via Steam as an episodic game — one sold and released chapter by chapter across a season — developed by AdHoc Studio, a team staffed by former Telltale Games developers. The digital version is priced at US$30 for the full season or US$40 for a deluxe bundle that adds a digital artbook and four digital comics. (IGN)

The new physical release comes in two tiers. The US$50 Standard Deluxe Edition includes the full game on disc or cartridge, all DLC, a digital artbook with a digital copy of the game, four digital comics, a Superhero Dispatch Network booklet, a soundtrack download key, and a double-sided poster. The US$60 Steelbook Deluxe Edition packs in all of those same extras plus a steelbook case — a collectible metal cover — featuring box art created in-house at AdHoc Studio. (GameSpot)

AdHoc Studio noted that the steelbook edition may ship later than the standard one, owing to manufacturing lead times. Both editions will be sold through major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart. (GameSpot)

The Nintendo Switch version of the physical release is the Switch 1 edition of the game, and it includes the Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack — meaning buyers get the original version on cartridge plus a free enhancement patch for Nintendo's newer console. (GameSpot)

For soundtrack collectors, the complete Dispatch score is getting a 3xLP vinyl release through Lost in Cult Records, featuring brand-new artwork by the game's art director, Derek Stratton. The vinyl comes in two editions. The Prime Edition, described as the definitive standard, presses all three records on classic black vinyl. The Astral Edition is a limited run themed around three of the game's Superhero Dispatch Network heroes: Mecha Man's blue, Invisigal's translucent purple, and Blonde Blazer's red-and-yellow colour scheme.
