DAZN Acquires EverPass Media, Taking NFL Sunday Ticket Commercial Rights Into US Bars and Venues

DAZN has acquired EverPass Media, the company that holds the exclusive commercial distribution rights for NFL Sunday Ticket — the package that lets bars, restaurants and other commercial venues show every live out-of-market Sunday afternoon NFL game (Deadline).
The deal was announced on 26 August 2026 in a press release on DAZN's corporate newsroom (DAZN Media). Financial terms were not disclosed (Deadline).
EverPass was founded three years ago by RedBird Capital and 32 Equity, the NFL's strategic investment arm. It exists to get live sports into commercial venues — the screens you watch in a pub, a sports bar, an airport lounge. Beyond the NFL, EverPass's commercial programming portfolio spans the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NWSL, NASCAR, PGA Tour, MLS, Formula 1, and college football and basketball (Deadline).
EverPass also holds distribution partnerships with major platforms including Peacock, Netflix, Paramount, Apple, the YES Network and Chicago Sports Network. It recently signed a new deal with DirecTV to distribute NFL Sunday Ticket via satellite and streaming. Those commercial Sunday Ticket rights run through the 2027 NFL season (Awful Announcing).
Following the acquisition, EverPass will be rebranded as DAZN for Business. EverPass CEO Alex Kaplan will lead the new division and take on a larger role within DAZN overall (Deadline).
As part of the deal, RedBird Capital, 32 Equity and early EverPass investor TKO Group — the parent company of UFC and WWE — will become minority shareholders in DAZN (Deadline). That means three of the most powerful sports-industry investors will now hold stakes in a streaming platform already operating across more than 200 markets.
DAZN said the acquisition is intended to accelerate its US expansion, move the company into American commercial venues, and strengthen what it calls a next-generation commercial distribution platform (Reuters; DAZN Media). In practical terms, the deal combines DAZN's own sports content with EverPass's existing infrastructure for delivering live games into businesses.
For the venue owner and the fan at the bar, the short-term picture is continuity. DirecTV satellite and streaming distribution of Sunday Ticket carries on under the deal EverPass already signed. The longer-term question is what DAZN does with the combination of its global sports rights and EverPass's commercial reach — and whether the rebrand to DAZN for Business brings new pricing, new packages, or new sports onto those screens before the Sunday Ticket rights come up for renewal after 2027.
