Allie Michler Kopelman has been named bridal ambassador for Aerin, the luxury lifestyle brand founded by Aerin Lauder, with the role effective Tuesday, 25 August WWD.

The appointment puts a Vogue staffer inside a bridal business with a short but growing track record. Kopelman is director of fashion initiatives at Vogue, and is married to actor Will Kopelman. As Aerin's bridal spokesperson, she will advise on strategic partnerships, market development, trunk shows — the in-store events where a brand shows a curated selection to clients — and online engagement, according to WWD.

Aerin Lauder, the founder and namesake of the brand, is the granddaughter of Estée Lauder, daughter of Ronald Lauder, and niece of the late Leonard Lauder — the family behind the Estée Lauder Companies, one of the world's largest cosmetics groups. The Aerin brand itself was launched in 2012, with Aerin Beauty, a skin care, makeup and fragrance line, introduced later under licence to Estée Lauder. The lifestyle business, Aerin LLC, is independently owned by Aerin Lauder.

Bridal is a recent thread in that business. In March, Aerin debuted a Wedding Registry and Gifting platform on its website, aerin.com, letting couples select pieces from the Heirloom Collection, an assortment of vintage and made-to-order items WWD.

Lauder has spoken about her own bridal experience as the inspiration for the registry. She recalled registering at Bergdorf Goodman, the New York department store, with the celebrated personal shopper Betty Halbreich, and wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown for her wedding WWD.

Kopelman's relationship with the Aerin orbit is not new. In March 2025, she attended Aerin Lauder's book launch party held at Ralph Lauren in New York, listed under her full name, Alexandra Michler Kopelman WWD. She and Will Kopelman have also been photographed at Aerin-hosted events, including one with the designer Tabitha Simmons in New York in November 2021 and another with Cordelia de Castellane, the creative director of lifestyle at Dior, at The Neue, a venue in lower Manhattan (BFA).

Her own Vogue credentials run across the calendar. Kopelman has been photographed at events celebrating the 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists — the annual prize that supports emerging American designers — and at the ALO bag collection release, a collaboration with the magazine (BFA).

The appointment signals where the Aerin bridal business is heading. A bridal registry needs someone who can draw both a retail customer and an industry network, and Kopelman sits at a junction between the two — a Vogue title on one side, a personal connection to the Aerin circle on the other.

Aerin Beauty, the licensed cosmetics arm, remains inside the Estée Lauder portfolio. Aerin LLC, the independently held lifestyle business that houses the registry and the Heirloom Collection, is the entity now building out its bridal footprint with Kopelman's help.
