Donatella Versace to lead new fashion and beauty venture with Revolve

Donatella Versace will serve as chief creative officer, the role in charge of design, of a new fashion and beauty business formed as a joint venture, a company jointly owned, with Revolve Group. Revolve Group, the online retailer behind the Revolve and FWRD shopping platforms, is the partner in the venture. The plan was reported on 21 September 2026. WWD
The name of the new brand is still secret. It will be revealed in the coming months. The first products will be beauty products. Those will also be shown in the coming months.
The venture will launch at first across the United States, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. That list covers four large shopping regions from the start.
Revolve Group was founded in 2003 and has been publicly listed, with shares traded for the public to buy, in New York since 2019. The organisation sells through two segments, Revolve and FWRD, offering premium apparel, footwear, accessories and beauty products.
The company is led by co-founders and co-chief executives Michael Mente and Mike Karanikolas. Raissa Gerona is president of brand and partnerships. Their business is direct-to-consumer, selling straight to shoppers online rather than through other shops.
The new project follows Versace's departure from Versace, the fashion house she led for 28 years. She stepped down as creative officer in March 2025 and was replaced as creative director by Dario Vitale, who previously worked at the fashion label Miu Miu. AP She had held the top creative post for 28 years and was then named chief brand ambassador, a public-facing role for the house. Bloomberg
For fans, this means a familiar name in a new place. Versace built her career inside a luxury house run on seasonal runway shows. Her next label will start with beauty and sell through a retailer known for online shopping and fast delivery. The designs, the name and the prices are still to come.
