Maxton Hall Sets Final Season: Prime Video Releases Teaser for Season 3, Premiering December 9

Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer for the third and final season of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, with a global premiere set for December 9 on the streaming service. Production on the German-language series wrapped in June, according to a Prime Video announcement at the time.
The teaser offers a glimpse of where the story lands. Ruby, played by Harriet Herbig-Matten, has been suspended from Maxton Hall College, and evidence points to James — played by Damian Hardung — as being responsible for her expulsion. In voiceover, Ruby tells the audience: "Some stories can change everything… and divide life into a before and an after." James, for his part, offers a shorter reassurance: "We've got this." Deadline
Season 3 adapts Save Us, the third novel in Mona Kasten's book series published by LYX. The show is produced by UFA Fiction, part of the Fremantle group. Martin Schreier returned to direct, having helmed the previous seasons. The writers' room for the final stretch was led by Ceylan Yildirim, writing alongside Sandra Stöckmann, Marlene Melchior, Catharina Junk and Aylin Kockler. Markus Brunnemann and Yildirim serve as executive producers. Deadline
The premiere date was first confirmed in late August, with the December 9 slot reported across multiple outlets citing an Amazon announcement. TV Insider Amazon About
For fans, the teaser confirms what the book readers already suspected: the final season will not pull its punches. Ruby and James, the central couple whose romance has run through wealth, class divides and family secrets, now face a fracture that strikes at the heart of their relationship. Whether "Save Us" lives up to its title is a question the December premiere will answer.
