Jamie Demetriou and Amelia Dimoldenberg Line Up as SNL UK Season 2 Guest Hosts

Jamie Demetriou and Amelia Dimoldenberg will host the next two episodes of Saturday Night Live UK Season 2 on Sky, with Royal Blood and Rachel Chinouriri booked as musical guests.
Demetriou takes the stage on 19 September 2026, with rock duo Royal Blood providing the music. Dimoldenberg follows on 26 September 2026, with singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri handling musical duties (Sky).
Jeff Goldblum opened the season, hosting the premiere episode the weekend of 8 September 2026. That makes Demetriou episode two and Dimoldenberg episode three in a six-episode run before the show takes a break and returns in early 2027 (Deadline).
For Demetriou, the hosting gig is a return to familiar ground. He worked as a consultant on SNL UK Season 1, meaning he helped shape sketches and format behind the scenes before stepping in front of the cameras this time around. Dimoldenberg, best known for her Chicken Shop Date interview series, makes her SNL UK hosting debut.
Season 1 set a high bar for guest hosts. Tina Fey, Hannah Waddingham and Nicola Coughlan all took turns during the first run. The show, produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio's UK team and Broadway Video, keeps its creative leadership intact for Season 2: Lorne Michaels serves as executive producer, and James Longman is lead producer.
The entire Season 1 cast returns, including Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young. That continuity matters for a sketch show, where the ensemble's chemistry builds week to week and a returning cast means the shorthand between performers is already in place.
For viewers, the next two Saturdays are now mapped out. Demetriou and Royal Blood on the 19th, Dimoldenberg and Chinouriri on the 26th. Three episodes down after that, the season pauses — with more to come in the new year.
