Peacock Drops Full Trailer for Friday the 13th Prequel Crystal Lake, Sets 15 October Binge Release

Peacock has released the full trailer for Crystal Lake and set 15 October for the launch. All eight episodes of the Friday the 13th prequel series will arrive on the streamer on the same day, according to Deadline.
The series comes from studio A24 and creator Brad Caleb Kane. It is a prequel, meaning a story set before the events of the earlier films. Peacock describes it as a return to the camp site where it all started.
Linda Cardellini stars as Pam Voorhees. She leads the series regulars, meaning the main cast across the season, alongside William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins and Gwendolyn Sundstrom.
The wider cast includes recurring players, meaning actors appearing in multiple episodes but not in every one. Those roles go to Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch and Phoenix Parnevik.
The eight-episode run is organised as a single drop. Viewers get the complete story at once, rather than week to week. Each episode runs for around an hour.
Behind the camera, the directing duties are split three ways. Michael Lennox directed the first three episodes. Celine Held and Logan George directed episodes 104 through 106, the industry numbering for the fourth to sixth episodes of season one. Quyen Tran directed the final two instalments, the penultimate episode and the finale.
Peacock has also released first-look images from the series. The show sits in the streamer's Fall 2026 schedule, and A24 lists 15 October 2026 as the release date on its official series page.
For fans, this means a short wait and a quick watch. The full season lands just over two weeks before Halloween, ready to be watched in one go or spread across nights.
