Overwatch to get Cyberpunk: Edgerunners outfits in 2027

Overwatch will get outfits based on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in 2027.
The collaboration was announced at BlizzCon 2026. It will bring characters from the anime series, set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, into Blizzard Entertainment's team-based shooter as changeable character outfits. Early teases point to David from season one and Talia Yang from season two, Video Games Chronicle reported.
CD Projekt Red said Overwatch will receive two linked releases in 2027. One draws on the original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The other draws on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, according to the studio's announcement on Battle.net, Blizzard's PC shop and launcher. That second season is set to debut on 20 October 2026.
It is Overwatch's next anime collaboration, Polygon reported. No heroes, prices or release dates within 2027 have been confirmed yet.
The partnership extends beyond Overwatch. Geralt of Rivia, the monster hunter from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will appear as a Barbarian skin in Diablo 4. The skin changes the look of the Barbarian, one of the game's playable classes. CD Projekt Red and Blizzard have released a first look at the design, IGN reported.
There is movement on storefronts too. Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Battle.net, CD Projekt Red confirmed. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered launches on 29 September, with its Songs of the Past DLC, extra downloadable content, available on Battle.net at launch. The team-up between the two companies was first detailed by Blizzard Entertainment in August.
Separately, Blizzard will run a Twitch campaign tied to 30 years of Diablo. The Season of Hell's Legacy celebration runs from 15 September 2026 at 11:00 a.m. PT to 29 September 2026 at 10:59 a.m. PT.
What makes this stand out is the spread. One deal covers an anime, a shooter, a role-playing game and two storefront launches. For fans, this means more ways to meet familiar characters outside their home games, with the full details still to come.
