Tisha Campbell to Star, Write and Produce Lifetime's One Last Shot

Tisha Campbell will star in, co-write and executive-produce One Last Shot for Lifetime.
The original film will premiere on Saturday, November 14 at 8/7c, meaning 8pm Eastern and 7pm Central, on Lifetime, Deadline reported. It forms part of the channel’s 2026 Love of a Lifetime slate, its seasonal line-up of romance-led films.
Campbell plays Joy Walker. Jaden Lucas Miller plays her son Chaz, a teenage basketball phenom diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. Charles Malik Whitfield plays her ex, Royce.
The film reunites Campbell with AJ Johnson. The two co-starred in the 1990 comedy House Party and have not appeared together on screen since, according to the report. Johnson joins Whitfield and Miller in the supporting cast.
Behind the camera, Erica Sutherlin directs from a script by Campbell and Dani Wright. The film is produced by Fox Entertainment Studios. Adam Shepard, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer and Fernando Szew are executive producers for the studio, a role that involves guiding the production creatively and financially, alongside Campbell and Mychael G. Chinn. Wright is co-executive producer.
Fox Entertainment Global will handle international distribution of the film.
One Last Shot joins previously announced Love of a Lifetime titles including Terry McMillan Presents: Paradise with You, starring Taye Diggs, Heather Hemmens and Cynthia Bailey. That slate is organised around love stories with family stakes.
What makes this stand out is the double reunion. Campbell returns to a familiar screen partnership while also stepping into a writing and producing role on her own story.
