Wardogs Patch 0.11 goes live as Bulkhead warns cash farmers face bans

Exploit Wardogs for cash and you could lose your account.

Developer Bulkhead has warned that players who farm the game's economy face temporary or permanent bans, as Wardogs Patch 0.11 was released on September 14, 2026. The message is blunt. Play fair, or risk your progress.

The warning targets the in-game economy, the cash and experience players earn and spend across matches. Bulkhead said anyone stockpiling money by abusing cash exploits and bugs will receive a timed ban, with cash and experience reset, according to GameSpot. The length of that ban depends on prior bans.

Other abuses draw a harder line. Farming experience through server exploits results in a permanent ban. Posting tutorial content that shows economy exploits is treated as advertising cheats, which also results in a permanent ban. Do not post a how-to.

There is a safe route for players who stumble on a bug. Sharing a discovered exploit directly with Bulkhead on Discord or social media is treated as an alert, and prevents a permanent ban. In short, report it privately instead of broadcasting it.

The crackdown arrived with a short outage and a reworked way of finding matches. Servers were taken down for approximately one hour on September 14, 2026 to deliver the patch, Bulkhead said in its Steam announcement. Patch 0.11 splits the server browser, the menu list where players browse and join games, into separate Community and Official browsers.

Official servers, those run by the developer, no longer have filtering. Community servers, those run by players, gain text-based search. Community Server IDs now persist between matches and restarts, with unique IDs for joining via ID, which makes it easier to return to a favoured server. A Show Empty/Full toggle was added to the browser quick bar.

To encourage use of player-run games, Bulkhead offered a bonus 5% End of Match cash bonus on community servers for the following week. Community server favouriting, a way to save preferred servers to a list, was listed as an upcoming feature not yet ready in Patch 0.11.

The update follows heavy traffic for the military shooter. Wardogs hit 400,000 peak concurrent users, Bulkhead said in the Steam post published on September 12, 2026.

For players, this means the choice is simple. Use community servers for the extra cash, report bugs quietly, and keep exploit clips off the feed.
