Natalia Vodianova took her own photograph in a bedroom days before giving birth.

The image is part of the fall 2026 campaign for Cou Cou, the four-year-old essentials label founded by Rose Colcord, which Vodianova fronts as both model and early investor WWD.

Vodianova spoke to WWD about the brand's growth and the shoot days before the birth of her sixth child, a daughter with her husband Antoine Arnault. She was pregnant throughout the project and said she wore the label's shorts, T-shirts, dresses and bras as her body changed.

The connection goes back to Paris in 2022. Vodianova first met Colcord there when Colcord was studying philosophy at New York University, the US university. Vodianova later became one of Cou Cou's first backers.

The business case is simple. Every piece is cut from pure organic cotton, with no synthetic blends, and everyday essentials are priced from GBP 20 to GBP 90. Sales have more than doubled year on year, the brand told WWD.

The fall campaign was shot at Vodianova's family home in Paris by Carlota Guerrero, the Spanish photographer Yahoo. Alongside the portraits by Guerrero, the series includes Vodianova's bedroom self-portrait.

Cou Cou's best seller remains the long-sleeve Rina top. It has been worn by Zoe Kravitz, Hailey Bieber and Lily-Rose Depp. Colcord said the style takes cues from Jane Birkin and the off-duty dress of ballet dancers.

Vodianova is the founder of the Naked Heart Foundation, which she set up, and a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund, the UN agency. Motherhood is central to both roles, and to this campaign.

What makes this stand out is the overlap. Vodianova is not a hired face. She put money in early, wore the cotton through pregnancy, then brought the shoot home.
