Wardogs sells 2 million copies in first week of PC early access

Wardogs has sold 2 million copies in less than a week on PC.
The tactical FPS, a first-person shooter built around planning and teamwork, was released into early access on 10 September 2026. That sales total was reported on 15 September 2026, five days after launch, according to Video Games Chronicle.
The pace is fast. Bulkhead Interactive and Team17 had announced on 10 September 2026 that the game had already passed one million copies sold on day one. The second million followed in about four days.
Players have arrived in large numbers too. Wardogs passed 400,000 concurrent players in its first week. Tracking site SteamDB put the first-weekend peak at 428,666 concurrent players. Day one had already passed 300,000 peak concurrent players on Steam, according to IGN.
Wardogs was developed by British studio Bulkhead Interactive. The studio previously released The Turing Test, Battalion 1944 and Killrun. Battalion 1944 was later retitled Battalion: Legacy.
On Steam, the game holds a Very Positive average review rating. It is sold in early access, a version made available to buy while development continues.
Bulkhead had earlier pitched Wardogs as a project with a budget of between £10 million and £12 million, as described in March 2026, according to GamesIndustry.biz.
What makes this stand out is the speed of the second surge. A strong day one is one thing. Doubling it before the end of week one puts Wardogs among the sharpest PC launches of the year.
