Syd Announces North American Beard Tour for Autumn

Syd will take her album Beard on the road across North America this autumn, opening in Vancouver on 7 November and closing in Los Angeles on 16 December.
The run is billed as the Beard Tour Pollstar and is described as a 22-date run across the United States and Canada Consequence. Dates were detailed by Pitchfork.
The tour starts on Canada’s west coast and moves south. Syd plays the Commodore in Vancouver, British Columbia on 7 November, then the Roseland Theatre in Portland, Oregon on 8 November and the Moore Theatre in Seattle, Washington on 10 November. She then heads to California for the Ace of Spades in Sacramento on 12 November, two nights at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles on 14 and 15 November, and the Observatory North Park in San Diego on 16 November.
From there the route moves through Texas and the south-east. She plays the House of Blues in Houston, Texas on 19 November and the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas on 20 November, followed by Emo’s in Austin, Texas on 22 November. The next stop is the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia on 24 November, then The Fillmore Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina on 28 November and The Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina on 29 November.
The final stretch covers the north-east, Midwest and west. Syd plays Brooklyn Paramount in Brooklyn, New York on 1 December, Echostage in Washington, DC on 3 December, The Fillmore Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 5 December and the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts on 6 December. She then plays HISTORY in Toronto, Ontario on 8 December and the Ramova Theatre in Chicago, Illinois on 10 December, before closing with the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada on 12 December, The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona on 13 December, The Castro in San Francisco, California on 15 December and The Wiltern in Los Angeles on 16 December.
Syd performs as a solo artist alongside her work with the band the Internet Rolling Stone. Beard is the album she will support on this run.
For fans, this means a full coast-to-coast choice of rooms, from theatres to larger halls, with two Los Angeles stops at the start and end of the itinerary.
