Xbox Game Pass to remove eight games on 30 September
Eight games are scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on 30 September, including Sifu, Atomfall and Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition.
The leaving date was reported by GameSpot. It is the second removal wave of the month.
The full group scheduled to leave on 30 September is Atomfall, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition, Little Rocket Lab, Sifu, SOPA Tale of the Stolen Potato, Sworn and Terminull Brigade. All eight are listed for Cloud, Console and PC. That means no version stays behind. The deadline is the same whether you stream, play on an Xbox console or play on a Windows PC.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service. Members pay a monthly fee for access to a rotating library, rather than buying each game outright. Cloud means play by streaming. Console means play on an Xbox. PC means play on a computer. Titles join for a period and then leave when that period ends.
The 30 September departures follow an earlier round of exits. Microsoft removed 10 games earlier in September, bringing the total for September to 18 games. Two of those earlier departures were Commandos: Origins and Cricket 24. Both left on 15 September, according to Eurogamer.
September therefore has two exit points. The first has passed. The second is still to come.
New arrivals have continued alongside the exits. Seven games joined Xbox Game Pass in September 2026, according to Stevivor. Additions and removals often move in parallel. The catalogue keeps shifting.
For players, this means a clear deadline. Finish any run before 30 September. Organise your backlog now. Save files usually remain on your device or in online storage, so you can pick up where you left off if you buy the game later or if it returns to the service.
Anyone with an active subscription keeps access until the leaving date. After that date, those eight games will no longer open from the Game Pass library.
