Xbox Game Pass to lose eight games on 31 October

Eight games will leave Xbox Game Pass on 31 October.
The cut-off closes the second batch of removals for the month, as reported by GameSpot. Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service, a monthly payment that unlocks a rotating catalogue of games to download and play.
The departing titles are Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Wartales, Full Throttle Remastered, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, and Wildgate. Time is short. Subscribers have 12 days from 19 October to play them as part of the service.
Deep Rock Galactic is the widest removal in the group. It will leave across Console, PC and Cloud, according to Pure Xbox. That covers the three main ways members access the service, from a home console to a computer to streaming to other devices.
There is a way to keep a favourite. Game Pass members can save 20% if they buy any of the leaving games outright before they depart. The discount is standard practice for removals, and it applies only while the games remain in the catalogue.
The eight exits form the second wave of Game Pass removals for October 2026, according to TrueAchievements. Like other months, October was split into two removal rounds, with this late-month group following an earlier set of departures.
For fans, this means a busy end to the month. October 2026 now ties for the second-highest monthly removal total of 2026, according to Game Rant. Players who want to finish one of the eight should finalise their plans before 31 October, when access through the subscription ends.
