Netflix Sets 3 December Debut for Pride and Prejudice Limited Series

Netflix will debut its Pride and Prejudice limited series on 3 December 2026.

The date landed alongside first-look photos of the cast and a short teaser, giving viewers their first proper glimpse of the new adaptation, according to Variety.

The show is a six-part limited series, meaning a self-contained story told in one run with no ongoing seasons. It adapts Jane Austen’s novel of the Bennet family, courtship and misunderstanding in Regency England.

Emma Corrin stars as Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden stars as Mr Darcy, according to Netflix’s Tudum. Olivia Colman also stars, as reported by The Playlist. One of the first cast photos was shot by photographer Ludovic Robert.

The scripts are by Dolly Alderton. Euros Lyn directed the series and Lisa Osborne served as producer. Executive producers are Laura Lankester, Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point, alongside Alderton, Lyn and Corrin.

Alderton revealed the 3 December date at the Jane Austen Festival, according to Netflix’s Tudum. Netflix has also released a teaser for the series.

For fans, this means a clear diary date. Six episodes. A finished story. And a December launch to watch for.
