Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen and more tease spots on GTA VI soundtrack

Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen and five other acts have signalled they will be part of Grand Theft Auto VI, with Rockstar Games starting to tease the soundtrack two months before release.

The posts arrived as cropped, zoomed-in sections of a larger piece of GTA VI artwork, according to IGN. Scott, Future and Wallen were among those sharing the images. It is the first organised look at who could feature in the game’s music line-up.

Future and Metro Boomin both shared the same visual: the back of an animated car carrying a Leonida number plate. Leonida is the fictional US state where the new game is set, home to the returning city of Vice City. The matching posts suggest a joint appearance, although neither artist nor Rockstar has confirmed details.

Scott’s teaser was more direct. He posted an image of heels sliding down a stripper pole, with a caption about his return to the game and a tag for Rockstar Games, according to Pitchfork. Rockstar has not yet said whether that means new music, an in-game appearance or both.

Wallen shared a cryptic Instagram photo of a swimming pool that hinted at a collaboration. Argentine duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso posted an Instagram photo of a yacht in the game’s art style. Both images used the saturated colours and bold outlines associated with the franchise.

The wider list also includes Yung Lean, Raúl Alejandro and Keith Richards, who each shared franchise-styled visuals on social media. No further detail has been given about their roles.

Separately, Rockstar has confirmed that older songs from Sexxy Red, Kodak Black and Phil Collins will appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. That confirmation covers licensed catalogue, the industry term for existing recordings placed in a film or game, rather than new commissions.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026, Rockstar has said in a release-date announcement. It will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and is described by the company as a single-player experience.

For players who follow the music, the mix is the message. A rap producer, a country star, a Latin act, a Swedish cloud-rap favourite and a Rolling Stone in the same rollout shows how wide the game’s radio dial could be.
