RÜFÜS DU SOL close record $158 million Inhale/Exhale tour
RÜFÜS DU SOL have finished their Inhale/Exhale World Tour with $158 million in ticket sales and 1.7 million tickets sold.
The Australian trio closed the run on 5 September 2026 in Toronto, ending a tour organised across 18 months from March 2025 through September 2026. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, the trade publication's tally of reported box-office results, it is the highest-grossing and best-attended tour by an electronic act in that history Billboard.
The totals cross several thresholds at once. Inhale/Exhale is the first electronic tour to gross more than $100 million and then more than $150 million. It is also the first electronic tour to sell more than one million tickets and then more than 1.5 million tickets.
The scale is nearly triple the previous high. ODESZA's The Last Goodbye Tour, which ran from 2022 to 2024, earned $56.3 million and sold 801,000 tickets.
Inhale/Exhale reached those numbers through a long international routing. The tour played 54 shows in the United States and Canada, 21 in Europe, 13 in Oceania and 10 across Latin America.
The final leg did much of the heavy lifting. The last 31 dates in North America grossed $71.8 million from 693,000 tickets sold.
The record was built in stages. A 46-show run in 2025 sold 727,000 tickets and earned $64 million, which at the time made Inhale/Exhale the highest-grossing electronic tour on record Billboard. The group then extended the run into 2026, including dates in South America that lifted them to No. 1 on Pollstar's LIVE75 chart in April 2026 Pollstar. They had entered the top five of that weekly box-office chart two weeks earlier.
What makes this stand out is how far the final total moved past the group's own career base. RÜFÜS DU SOL's career Boxscore totals now stand at $173.7 million and 1.9 million tickets sold. That makes them the highest-grossing and bestselling electronic act in Boxscore history, and the first such artist to pass $100 million in career grosses.
The gap to the next acts is wide. By career revenue, Illenium follows with $88.3 million and ODESZA follows with $75.4 million. By career attendance, Tiësto is next behind RÜFÜS DU SOL with 1.3 million tickets sold.
