Hans Zimmer sets 32-date North American tour for 2027
Hans Zimmer will return to North America in 2027 with Hans Zimmer Live - The Next Level, a 32-date arena run that starts on 17 February. The dates were published by Billboard on 17 September 2026. The announcement confirms the next regional leg for a touring production already taken to audiences elsewhere. It gives fans across North America a fixed calendar months in advance.
The tour opens at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut. The routing then includes New York, Philadelphia and Boston in the east, Chicago in the middle of the country, and Atlanta and Miami in the southeast. Further west, the itinerary takes in Denver and Los Angeles among other cities. In total, the schedule counts 32 separate dates spread across February, March and April.
The run is set to close on 11 April at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Hartford and Portland bookend a route that covers both coasts. The calendar runs from late winter into spring.
Zimmer will perform each night with a 19-piece ensemble, meaning nineteen musicians on stage with him. The show combines live instrumentation, or acoustic and amplified instruments played in person, with electronic elements created or shaped with computers and synthesisers. Large-scale visuals are built into the staging, so lighting, screens and design sit alongside the music. The format is built for arenas, where sound and image have to reach every seat in a large room.
The North American leg follows a run in Europe, where The Next Level ranked among the top 10 worldwide tours during the first half of 2026. That chart position was reported by Billboard alongside the new dates. The same production was also prepared for Asia and Australia in 2026, after a 2025-2026 Europe tour announced to start in October, according to Hans Zimmer Live. Ticket selling for North America is organised in three timed windows. The American Express presale, an early buying period for cardholders, starts at 10 a.m. local time on 23 September. The artist presale, a separate early window linked to the performer, starts at 10 a.m. local time on 24 September. General sale, when any buyer can book, starts at 10 a.m. local time on 25 September.
For fans, this means the sales week moves quickly even though the concerts are months away.
