House of David will end with Season 3. Amazon and Wonder Project confirmed on Friday that the third run will be the biblical drama's last, closing its story at three seasons.

The decision finalises the show's run early. Production on the final season has already begun in Greece, according to Deadline.

The series follows the rise of David. Michael Iskander plays David, with Ali Suliman as King Saul and Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam.

It is produced by Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios in association with Nomadic Pictures and Argonauts, along with Kingdom Story Company and Lionsgate Television.

House of David launched on Prime Video with three episodes on 27 February 2025, with new episodes released weekly, according to Amazon's launch announcement. Prime Video then set Season Two for 27 March 2026 globally, its press office said at the time.

A renewal, meaning an order for more episodes, followed. Prime Video renewed the show for Season 3 in July, as reported by Deadline. That order has now been confirmed as the final one.

For fans, this means clarity. The story gets an endpoint. The crew knows the shoot in Greece is the last one, and viewers know the third season will finish it.
