Amazon Kids+ has renewed Surprise & Seek for two more seasons, covering Season 2 and Season 3. The renewal was reported by The Hollywood Reporter on 13 October 2026. It keeps the show on the slate for at least another year.

Season 2 is streaming now. It arrives under a new title, Surprise & Scream. The change of name reflects a Halloween theme that runs through the whole season.

Surprise & Seek is an unscripted series, meaning it is built around real contestants and games rather than scripted acting. It was the first unscripted original series commissioned for Amazon Kids+. Season 1 earned a 2025 Primetime Emmy nomination for best art direction, which covers the look of the sets and staging.

That look turns spooky this time. Season 2 was filmed at two Halloween attractions in the Historic West Bottoms neighbourhood of Kansas City. The shoot was organised in partnership with Full Moon Productions, the local operator behind those attractions. Haunted houses become the playground.

Season 3 is set to debut in 2027. It will bring back dozens of kids for an expanded competition. No episode count or exact launch date has been disclosed yet.

For families wondering where to find it, Surprise & Seek is available to Kids+ subscribers through Prime Video. It can also be watched on Fire TV and Alexa Tablets. A subscription is required, with the show sitting inside the Kids+ library rather than the main Prime Video catalogue.

Behind the camera is INE Entertainment, the production organisation led by Eric Day and Mark Koops. Damon Laguna has served as a producer on Surprise & Seek since its first season, and INE has now promoted him to vice president of original content. At Amazon, Aaron Berman is head of original shows for Kids+.

For fans, this means no long wait to learn the fate of the cast and crew. Renewals decide whether writers, builders, costume teams and production staff return for another run. Here, that answer came early, with one season already delivered and the next already planned.
