iPhone 18 Pro in India Puts 10-Minute Delivery to the Test
Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max went on sale in India on Friday, September 18, 2026. In some areas, a buyer could order through a quick-commerce app, a service built to deliver groceries in minutes, and have the phone at the door in about 10 minutes.
Four platforms carried the Pro models on launch day: Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy's Instamart, and BigBasket TechCrunch. Early numbers show demand centred in large metros. BigBasket delivered more than 300 iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max units in the first hour of sales. On Instamart, Bengaluru led iPhone 18 Pro-series orders, followed by Delhi. The most popular variant on Instamart was the Burgundy 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro, with nearly a third of its sales.
Within hours, quick-commerce availability became uneven. Some models sold out on some platforms and in some locations, while remaining available elsewhere in cities including Delhi and Bengaluru. That pattern points to limited stock held in local hubs, rather than one national pool.

The pattern has usually run the other way. When buying gets faster and more local, more people can get the product on day one, and sellers learn demand sooner. A phone in minutes is a novelty. The lasting part is precise local stock matched to real demand.
