Sony announces Lisa Limited Edition PS5 DualSense for 30 October release
Sony has teamed up with K-pop star Lisa for a limited-edition PlayStation 5 controller. The DualSense Wireless Controller: Lisa Limited Edition was announced on 21 September 2026. The release pairs Sony's console hardware with Lisa, the solo artist and member of Blackpink. Details were set out on the official PlayStation Blog and reported by Video Games Chronicle.
Sony's official post is titled "Lisa x PlayStation arrives this October: First look at the DualSense wireless controller – Lisa Limited Edition and all-new merchandise." It covers both the controller and the wider collection in one place. The announcement confirms design, prices, dates and stock plans.
The controller is based on the DualSense, the standard wireless pad for the PlayStation 5. Sony has given it a Chroma Pearl coloured shell that shifts tone in different light. The front features an illustration of Lisa's bangs and eyes. It is finished with signature stars and LL lettering.
Availability will be limited. Sony says the pad will be available on 30 October 2026 in highly limited numbers. It will be sold directly from PlayStation and at participating retailers globally. The price is listed at US$84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99, and at ¥12,480 including tax in Japan, on its PlayStation Blog.
Pre-orders start on 2 October 2026 at 10am local time, while supplies last. In the United States, orders for the DualSense Wireless Controller: Lisa Limited Edition open at 10:00 a.m. ET on the same date. Sony introduced the design with a promotional video released on 21 September 2026. The clip was posted by PlayStation on Facebook under the Lisa x PlayStation banner.
The controller is not the only release. A Lisa x PlayStation merchandise collection will arrive in the US in October. It includes apparel, hats, keychains, stickers and a carrying case for the DualSense. Each piece uses Lisa's designs alongside PlayStation symbols.
The merchandise will be available to pre-order directly from PlayStation on 2 October 2026 at 10am ET. More items will then launch on 23 October 2026 on Lisa's official Amazon store. US shoppers therefore have two order windows, one at the start of the month and one later.
What makes this stand out is the crossover. The hardware carries Lisa's own imagery, from the eye illustration to the stars and LL lettering. For fans, this means the dates matter more than the details. Pre-orders open on 2 October, with release to follow on 30 October.
