The Attico, the Milan label founded by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, is putting its next handbag on sale before it reaches the runway.

The bag is called L'Altra di Milano. That translates to "The Other of Milan" in English. It is priced from EUR 1,390 to EUR 1,590.

It goes on sale on Wednesday on the brand's e-commerce site, its online shop selling direct to shoppers, and in its Ibiza store. That is two days before the brand's spring 2027 runway show on Friday, a live presentation of next season's clothes, which will mark the bag's official debut. Ambrosio and Tordini previewed the plan to WWD a week ahead of the show.

The Friday show is titled "Quando Nessuno Guarda". That translates to "When No One Looks" in English. It starts at 7 p.m. CET in a tunnel near Milan's central train station.

Seven versions of the new bag will appear in the show. They range from smooth leather in classic colours to croco-embossed finishes, leather stamped with a crocodile pattern. The shape has a single top handle on one side. Three zippers open to compartments with contrasting red lining and inside pockets.

The launch comes as the label marks 10 years in business. Its previous bag, La Passeggiata, launched in 2024. Ambrosio and Tordini reflected on the decade in a September interview with Hypebae, the fashion and culture site, titled "10 Years Upstairs With The Attico" and published for Milan Fashion Week, the city's twice-yearly showcase week.

For shoppers, this means the bag can be bought before the show photos travel. For the brand, it turns the runway into a shop window with stock already live.
