Holly Humberstone cancels European tour after touring party emergency

Holly Humberstone has cancelled the remainder of her European tour after a member of her touring party suffered a serious, life-threatening medical emergency. The singer shared the news in a statement reported on Sept. 22, 2026. The affected person was taken to hospital and is now stable.
The emergency occurred on the morning of Sept. 20 as Humberstone's tour bus arrived in Cologne, Germany, according to Billboard. The touring party member received emergency care before being taken to hospital. Humberstone had been scheduled to play Stollwerck in Cologne that evening, according to her official website. The announcement came two days later, cutting short the continental leg of the tour.
The cancelled dates include Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg and Berlin. Detailed listings on her official website put those shows at Amager Bio in Copenhagen on Sept. 22, Parkteatret in Oslo on Sept. 23, Nalen in Stockholm on Sept. 24, Gruenspan in Hamburg on Sept. 26 and Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin on Sept. 27. A further German date at Technikum in Munich on Sept. 28 was also listed on the site. Humberstone said she intends to return next year to make up the missed shows.
She had been touring in support of Cruel World, her latest album. Her official site describes Cruel World as "The New Album Out April 10th" and offers it for purchase on vinyl, CD and cassette, according to listings on her official website. No new dates for the postponed European shows have yet been confirmed.
The singer has further touring plans listed beyond Europe. Coverage by the Mirror on Sept. 21 described her as a Brit Award winner. Her site lists eight UK and Ireland shows in January 2027, taking in Cardiff, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Birkenhead, Newcastle, Glasgow and London. It also lists four Australian dates in February 2027 in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, according to the same pre-cancellation listings. Those dates sit outside the cancelled European run.
For fans holding tickets for the missed shows, it means waiting for the rescheduled dates. For now, the tour pause is about giving those closest to it time and space.
