Singin' in the Rain tour casts Hauer and Anderson as Lina Lamont
Karen Hauer and Natalie Anderson will share the role of Lina Lamont in the UK and Ireland tour of Singin' in the Rain.
The casting was confirmed on 22 September for the stage version based on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, as reported by WhatsOnStage.
Grant Almirall will play Don Lockwood. Nicole-Lily Baisden will play Kathy Seldon. Matthew Maddison will play Cosmo Brown.
Wendi Peters will play Dora Bailey. She is scheduled to stay with the production until 3 July 2027.
The tour is produced by Jonathan Church Theatre Productions and Tilted. It is directed by Jonathan Church with choreography by Andrew Wright.
The Christmas run comes first. The production will play the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, from 26 November 2026 to 16 January 2027.
The tour itself will then open at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, from 28 January to 6 February 2027. A summer season at Sadler’s Wells in London will follow, from 2 June to 3 July 2027.
For audiences outside London, this means a long run with dates in regional houses into next summer. Further tour venues are expected to be confirmed by the producers.
