Six has announced a new cast for its 2026-27 UK and international tour, with six performers taking over the roles of Henry VIII's six wives from 22 September 2026 (WhatsOnStage).

The new company opens at Edinburgh Festival Theatre before heading out on the road. The tour reaches the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg from 5 to 9 May 2027.

Sedona Sky will play Catherine of Aragon, with Eve Humphrey as Anne Boleyn, Billie Kerr as Jane Seymour, Tia Antoine-Charles as Anna of Cleves, Léa Desjacques as Katherine Howard and Amena El-Kindy as Catherine Parr. Rosie Itzel, Eve Parsons and Charlotte Anne Steen serve as alternates — performers who cover specific roles rather than the whole company. Eve Knagg and Lara Vina Uzcatia join as super swings, the versatile cover performers who can step into any of the six queen tracks.

The cast is accompanied by The Ladies in Waiting, the show's all-female band, led by musical director Sara De Sanctis.

Six, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, reimagines Henry VIII's wives as pop stars competing for who had the worst marriage, all in an 80-minute concert. It is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The creative team includes set designer Emma Bailey, costume designer Gabriella Slade, lighting designer Tim Deiling and sound designer Paul Gatehouse.

The show is produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, and George Stiles — the same team behind the ongoing London and Broadway productions. Casting is by Pearson Casting.

The tour announcement comes amid a busy period for the musical worldwide. Six continues to run at the Vaudeville Theatre in London's West End and at the Lena Horne Theatre on Broadway. A new Spanish-language production is set to open in Madrid in September 2026. The current tour cast — listed on the show's official website as the "UK & China Tour Cast 2026" — will take the musical back to Australia for a national tour and into China for a 12-week engagement later in 2026.

The show has won more than 35 international awards, including Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Costume Design, and multiple WhatsOnStage Awards for Best West End Show. Producer Kenny Wax's own website also lists planned openings in Toronto and the Netherlands.

For fans who have already seen Six, a new cast means a fresh set of voices and interpretations in roles that are written as distinct vocal types — from Catherine of Aragon's power-ballad belt to Anna of Cleves's rhythmic groove. The alternates and swings are a particular feature of this show's touring life: with six lead roles and no ensemble, the cover structure has to be airtight.

The tour begins at Edinburgh Festival Theatre on 22 September 2026.
