Injustice 3 leak points to Supergirl and Batwoman

Supergirl and Batwoman have been linked to Injustice 3, the unannounced DC fighting game from NetherRealm Studios.
The names appeared in the online resume of stunt performer Mackensi Emory, in a report published on 22 September 2026 Eurogamer. The resume described motion-capture sessions for Injustice 3, with Emory performing as both characters. Motion capture uses performers in tracking suits whose movements become character animation. The resume has since been edited to remove all mention of the project.
That edit came fast. It is the detail that caught attention.
The character leak is the second of its kind in short order. It followed a separate leak the previous week centred on a mystery playtest, a trial session where players test an unfinished game, for an unannounced fighting game linked to Injustice 3 Kotaku. Neither NetherRealm nor publisher Warner Bros. Games has announced the title.
Supergirl would be a familiar face. She played a central role in the story of Injustice 2, the last game in the series. Her return would continue an established thread.
Batwoman would be new. She has never appeared in an Injustice game before. That gives the leak added weight for long-term players who track the roster, the list of playable fighters, from game to game.
There is a twist in the lore. In the official Injustice comic books, which are treated as canon alongside the games, Batwoman is dead. Games often find ways around comic deaths. A roster slot would not confirm how, or if, the story addresses it.
Emory's resume also named animator and stunt coordinator Jake Huang as involved in the project. Huang previously worked with NetherRealm on Mortal Kombat 1, released in 2023. That credit places the Injustice 3 work within the studio's recent production circle.
As of the report, Injustice 3 had no announcement and no known release date. NetherRealm's most recent release remains Mortal Kombat 1.
For fans, this means waiting for official word. A resume line that is later deleted is a leak, not a confirmation. It points to characters in development, not to a finished roster or a launch plan.
