Taylor Swift has announced a deluxe edition of The Life of a Showgirl, with four new songs arriving within days.

She unveiled The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore on Sept. 23, with the expanded album scheduled to drop in the same week, according to Billboard. The timing gives listeners only days between the reveal and the release. The wait is short.

The Encore adds four tracks to the original album. They are “Patient Zero,” “Pink Clouding,” “Babylon” and “Cleveland!”. All four titles were confirmed as part of the Sept. 23 announcement.

A deluxe edition of this kind keeps the original tracklist in place and bundles new material alongside it. For listeners who already know the parent album, it means the new songs land in the same collection. For newcomers, it offers the full set in one package.

“Patient Zero” will be heard first. It is scheduled for release on Friday, Sept. 25. Friday remains the standard global release day, when streaming services and shops update with the week’s new music.

The announcement follows a large chart run for The Life of a Showgirl. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart, with 4.002 million album-equivalent units, the measure that turns streams and sales into album sales. That total combines pure album sales, track sales and streams from paid and free services. The album then spent 12 weeks at No. 1, or about three months as the most-consumed title in the US under that chart’s count.

Its singles have also reached the top. “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite” each reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart, which ranks songs on combined streams, sales and radio play. Two chart-toppers from one album puts the parent record among the year’s most-played releases on US services and airwaves.

For fans, this means two dates to keep. The first is Sept. 25 for “Patient Zero.” The second is the full Encore set, due before the week closes.

What makes this stand out is the speed, with announcement and arrival landing in the same week. Listeners will not wait long to hear how the four new songs sit beside the original album.
