Taylor Swift has released four new songs as part of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.

The tracks are “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.” They arrived on Friday, 25 September, as an expanded edition of her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl, meaning extra songs added to the existing record Pitchfork.

Swift announced the Encore project on 23 September, according to Reuters. A preview published before release said the collection would come out on Friday NBC New York.

She wrote the four additional tracks with Max Martin and Shellback. Both are long-term collaborators. Both have co-writing and production credits across her catalogue.

“Patient Zero” is getting the full visual push. Swift shared a teaser video for the song featuring actors Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson. The full video was scheduled to premiere on Sunday night at the MTV VMAs.

This is not the first add-on to the Showgirl era. Previous expansions included versions titled So Glamorous Cabaret Version and So Punk on the Internet Version. Those titles refer to alternate editions built around existing songs.

The rollout also includes physical variants. Swift’s official website lists a “Patient Zero (Reflected Light Version)” vinyl and a “Patient Zero (His Halo Version)” vinyl, each available for 24 hours while supplies last Taylor Swift official site.

For fans, this means a short wait between announcement and new music. Two days. Four songs, a star-led video teaser, and limited vinyl pressings organised around one single.
