Maserati: The Brothers actress Maya Talem signs with MAD Celebrity

Italian-Tunisian actress Maya Talem has signed with MAD Celebrity, the talent arm of Cairo-based film company MAD Solutions, Deadline reported on 23 September.
She will be looked after by MAD Rising Celebrity, its programme for emerging acting talent from the Arab world. A talent arm works much like an agency, finding roles, negotiating deals and planning next steps.
Talem was born in Tunisia and raised in Italy, Deadline reported. She is fluent in four languages. Italian, English, Arabic and French. She began her professional career in 2015 with Thou Shalt Not Kill, the Italian crime drama known locally as Non Uccidere.
Her latest role is Rosa Maserati, the wife of Ettore Maserati, in Maserati: The Brothers, Deadline reported. The upcoming picture comes from director Bobby Moresco and producer Andrea Iervolino, and it centres on the family behind the Maserati luxury car brand. The cast is large. Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino lead the ensemble alongside Jessica Alba, Andy Garcia and Talem.
Music is part of the job. Talem performs a song in Italian and English in the film. She also joins Andrea Bocelli and Jennifer Hudson on the official title song, written by Diane Warren, Deadline reported. The recording splits the languages three ways. Talem sings in Arabic, Bocelli sings in Italian and Hudson sings in English.
Her recent screen work moves between Italy and Egypt. She appeared in Pharaoh's War, the Egyptian action film with Amr Saad and Ruby opposite Mike Tyson. She played Faten alongside Mai Omar in Ish Ish, the Egyptian series made for Ramadan in 2025. Ramadan is peak season for television drama across much of the Arab world, with new series launching nightly. She also played Rabab Saube, the mother of the young protagonist, in The Goat, directed by Ilaria Borrelli.
For fans, this means two tracks to follow at once. Talem arrives with an English-language motoring saga on screen and a three-language song on record, alongside experience in both Italian and Egyptian productions. It is a broad base for a young career.
